Yorkshire Cosplay Con's Cosplay Prop Guide for Fly DSA Arena

We have had a lot people asking about cosplay props recently due to Fly DSA's heighten security in the wake of recent events. So we are going to detail here on this page what you can and can't bring to the Arena. The Arena has put these rules in place for everyones safety and well-being during their visit to the venue. We will try to make it as simple as possible for everyone to understand as the Arena staff will be dealing with this on the door.

We have made a section for different types of props.

  • All props should be made from lightweight materials like Foam, Plastic or Cardboard.
  • Bladed weapons(swords, Axes, Knifes etc) must be dull with no sharp edges or points.

  • No wooden baseball bats will be allowed into the venue.
  • Fantasty look Weapons are allowed
  • With larger props please beaware of your surroundings and other attendees around you, so you don't accidently bump them.
